Warren Edward Spahn (April 23, 1921-November 24, 2003) was a former left-handed pitcher who played his entire 21 year career in the National League. He started his playing career with the Boston Braves, who became the Milwaukee Braves after his first year, and spent the majority of his career with them until his final season when he was sold to the New York Mets and then mid-season signed with the San Francisco Giants. Spahn was a 13-time All-Star, compiled a 363-245 record, started 665 games, threw 382 complete games, struck out 2,583 batters and finished with a 3.09 career ERA.
