Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Champion and NFL Comeback Player of the Year Jordy Nelson has confirmed his participation to play in the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Outing presented by Network Health on Monday, August 23, 2021, at The Club at Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc, WI, established in 1896. Nelson will also join the Golf Committee Board of Directors and become a Strategic Advisor for the premier celebrity golf tournament in WI. Nelson has successfully managed his own sold-out charitable golf outing in Kansas for 13 years, and he has been a participant in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament, one of the most well-known celebrity golf outings in the country. Nelson’s event management success in Wisconsin also includes the Jordy Nelson Charity Softball Game, which raised over $500,000 for WI charities.
Executive Director Brian Lammi said, “We are beyond thrilled to have Jordy Nelson as a participant and strategic leader for our golf event. Jordy’s “best-practice” solutions are already being incorporated to ensure this event will be the best celebrity golf tournament in Wisconsin. Players and fans will appreciate the access, uniqueness, and best in class hospitality that is so important to Jordy.”
Nelson was inducted into the 70th Anniversary Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Class, joining Brett Favre, in 2020. In Green Bay Packers history, no one has more receiving yards in a Super Bowl game than Jordy Nelson. Nelson’s 140 yards broke Max McGee’s previous record.
Interested parties can contact the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame at 414-727-3605 or Accounts@WIHallofFame.com to purchase a foursome. There will be a “Draft” to select celebrities like Nelson to join a foursome, with a selection order based on commitment level and the date of foursome purchase.
